ABOUT Pastor Eric and Wayfaring Hartford

Reverend Eric Thompson, Senior Pastor -WFMGH

Multitudes of men, women and children, for over twenty years, have been transformed by the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. They have been challenged, through the Word of God, to live in unrealized potential.

Pastor Thompson's ministry has crossed denominational and social political barriers, teaching, inspiring and encouraging men, women, children, judges, national leaders as well as local leaders. In 2001 Pastor Thompson and the ministry stood for the Traditional Definition of Marriage. In 2004 the Lord allowed the acquisition of an orphanage called “The Little Lambs.” twenty-five orphans at that time were under the tutelage of the pastor's vision. In 2009 the ministry acquired another orphanage in the Country of Guatemala, where 400 children received support from Wayfaring’s direction, prayer and insight. In 2005 Pastor was hired as a consultant for the Family Institute of Connecticut, Connecticut’s only Ecumenically Derived, Family Centered Lobbying Organization as the Director of Religious Outreach. Pastor has also served politically, having been elected in Government on the East Hartford Town Council, elected as a town councilor and in 2010 he was elected by his peers as the Minority Leader of the council nearly serving a decade as an elected official.

Pastor Thompson's drive in ministry is to see individuals recognize their inner ability to succeed, real sustainable successes, resulting in families being restored, renewed and revived. Pastor believes the church can have an unprecedented movement of God within our homes, our state and most importantly, our society. Pastor Thompson is married to his ministry partner for life, Mia of twenty-seven years. Together, they have four children, Daria, Alyssa, Rachel and Eric Jr.

Wayfaring Ministries of Greater Hartford (WFMGH)

Wayfaring Ministries of Greater Hartford: (WFMGH) is a ecumenical center that is focused solely upon changing lives for the Body of Jesus Christ. Established in 2001, for over 20 years WFMGH has been a conduit of God's grace in the Greater Hartford area. Located in Manchester, Connecticut, WFMGH invites all families to join in the Great Commission in Connecticut and around the World to seek the Face of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is a straight shooter, but don't get it twisted, she loves the Lord immensely. Faithful and devoted to Christ's mission for the Church.

Sister Tamara is a true testament of God's grace when someone relinquishes themselves to the Lord's bidding. A member since 2012, Sister Tamara is an organizer by nature and selflessly works on the behalf of WFMGH in the capacity of Coordinating its events. Another prayer warrior should you ever get the chance to witness.
